Russia and Turkey. No more instruments in the hands of the West.

Ar_vest analyzes about the historical role of Turkey and Russian in the hands of the Western countries. He claims both countries used to be instruments for mutual neutralization, and now they have a chance to unite at last and what will be the position of the western countries here, will Turkey agree to go against the beforehand planned way? These are the questions stated. And if the union is formed, what if it becomes a new Lenin-Ataturk union, which crashed once at the same time ruining Armenia as a mediator.
The cooperation brought to the Kars Treaty, which turned off historical Armenian Kars region sized larger than the modern Armenia and gave it to Turkey, Armenian Nakhichevan was given to Azerbaijan and Armenia itself was inserted into Soviet Union. In the result the cooperation lasted not longer than the signing of the treaty and the lost part Armenia is now standing at a similar situation - what if today’s cooperation becomes a copy of the infamous precedent. What should the position of Armenia be here?

Artsakh (Karabakh) Republic, South Osetia and Abkhazia. Possible perspectives

Golos Armenii analyzes the recent events in South Osetia and Abkhazia, coming to conclusion that the completely failed military actions of Georgia in South Osetia should become a valuable factor for opening the eyes of Azerbaijan in uselessness of any military actions for enlarging the territory of Azerbaijan at the expense of Artsakh (Karabakh) Republic.
Also the articles states the position of numerous political scientist, who claim it is necessary to sign an agreement between Armenia and Azerbaijan about not using military means against each other, which will provide effective negotiations in assigning the final solution in Nagorno-Karabakh Republic problem.

Armenian railways to the world

The recent Georgia-South Osetia conflict affected the whole region of South Caucasus and Armenian Highland, and one of the reasons was the damaged railway and road from Armenia to Georgian Poti, actually the only exit of Armenia into the world in the state of 17-year-long blockade of Armenian borders by Turkey from West and Azerbaijan from East.
Now more than ever the necessity of alternative ways to the world is seen.
Armenia Discovered writes about the possible openinig of Turkish-Armenian border and the repairing works at Gyumri-Kars railway.

South Caucasian Railways repairs the station on Gyumri-Kars railway through which, according to the secretary of the company is going to receive trains directly from Turkey. No dates were mentioned as well as any political decisions from either Armenia or Turkey. They claim no political decisions depend on them and their job is to prepare the railway.

And Real Armenia states the necessity of a railway from Armenia to Iran.

In such circumstances the necessity of having new railway communication options with the world is becoming indispensable. Iran-Armenia railway can serve as one option.

Armenian state institutions websites hacked by Azerbaijani hackers

Numerous Armenia state institution website were hacked during the last days by Azerbaijani organized hackers attack. Armenia Discovered claimed two websites:
Armenian Ministry of Education website and Armenian Ombudsman website attacks. Uzogh claims several more websites attacked:

Ministry of Justice
Ministry of Youth and Sports of Armenia
General Prosecutor’s Office
De Facto Magazine website

Most of the websites are again functioning, but the act of hackers attacks, we’re sure, is going to remain uncondemned, just like dozens of such examples of Azerbaijano-Turkish neighbouring hackers actions, in which no one ever was either convicted, or even blamed by any of the Azerbaijani officials and people.

Azerbaijan destabilizes the situation in South Caucasus

Armenia Discovered reports two days ago Azerbaijan once again broke the silence and attacked Nagorno-Karabakh border. Braking of the armistice is becoming a common practice for Turko-Azeri forces: several times a month Azerbaijan break the armistice, and while one critics goes against those actions from the international society that may become a serious threat for the security of the whole region.
